Four bridges and two tunnels offer trail users gentle gradients and the Trail is one of the most heavily used trails in the nation.

Montgomery County Public Schools serve the residents of The Riviera.  Bethesda Elementary, Westland Middle and Bethesda-Chevy Chase H.S.  B-CC has an Honors program, an Advanced Placement (AP) program, and a signature program – the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
