Virtually any kind of ethnic food – from Chinese to Thai to Vietnamese to Ethiopian to Italian to Greek and more is within 5-minutes. Diners and dives minus the drive-ins as Guy Fieri says…It’s all close by. There’s a great little place called Seoul Food tucked into an Exxon gas station in Wheaton about 2-miles away. Suburban Trading Company is another gem tucked away just past Antique Row. And if you want to go more upscale, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Rockville have more options within 10-minutes drive. While there are many private school options nearby, from Montessori to Catholic schools and more, the public school feeds can vary depending on the Street. Many go to Albert Einstein High School, but there are some that feed into Kensington Parkwood, North Bethesda Middle School, and Walter Johnson High School. So if you’re looking for a particular school, let me know, and I can determine for sure which homes would go to the schools you prefer. Kensington Heights is a fabulous place to call home…A solid, established neighborhood within walking distance to stores, restaurants, and public transportation. And just a short drive to all the Washington, D.C. metro area has to offer.
