Quickly access the redeveloping White Flint area off of Rockville Pike in just five minutes via Strathmore Avenue. Both sides of the red line metro are roughly two miles away – Wheaton on one side and Grosvenor-Strathmore on the other.  There are a few parks with playground sets for children that are easily walkable.  Shopping and restaurants are walk-able from Connecticut Avenue and University Boulevard. A newer Safeway is the closest major store.  Antique Row and the unique mix of businesses off of Howard Avenue are all within a mile.  Kensington Library is within a mile of Knowles Avenue.  MARC train stop is within a mile just on the outskirts of the antique stores.  Trails and additional parks are all just about a mile away via Beach Drive and Rock Creek Park.  Hop on your bike on a beautiful day, and work your way all the way down to the Potomac River in Washington D.C.

Virtually any kind of ethnic food – from Chinese to Thai to Vietnamese to Ethiopian to Italian to Greek and more is within 5-minutes. Diners and dives minus the drive-ins as Guy Fieri says…It’s all close by. There’s a great little place called Seoul Food tucked into an Exxon gas station in Wheaton about 2-miles away. Suburban Trading Company is another gem tucked away just past Antique Row.  And if you want to go more upscale, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Rockville have
more options within 10-minutes drive.  While there are many private school options nearby, from Montessori to Catholic schools and more, the public school feeds can vary depending on the Street. Many go to Albert Einstein High School, but there are some that feed into Kensington
Parkwood, North Bethesda Middle School, and Walter Johnson High School.  So if you’re looking for a particular school, let me know, and I can determine for sure which homes would go to the schools you prefer.  Kensington Heights is a fabulous place to call home…A solid, established
neighborhood within walking distance to stores, restaurants, and public transportation. And just a short drive to all the Washington, D.C. metro area has to offer.
